Volunteer at NAM

Volunteers serve in a multitude of roles at NAM. They sort merchandise at NAM Resale, enter data in Client Services, answer hotline calls in the Family Violence Center, organize toy drives, and so much more. They are absolutely essential to NAM's mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Right now, with NAM's Young at Heart Senior Center, and Meals on Wheels preparing to deliver hot meals to homebound seniors, NAM needs volunteers more than ever.  Volunteers are needed to serve food at the Young at Heart Senior Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; to call out numbers for Bingo, and to assist or teach classes during the week.  Meals on Wheels needs volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors and disabled adults Monday through Friday. NAM's Meals on Wheels service area is also expanding, which means there will be more meals and more routes to deliver to. You can volunteer once a month, once a week, or every day if you'd like. This is also a great opportunity for groups, organizations, or families to adopt a route.

NAM needs volunteers to help in our food pantry too. At the Joanne Watford Nutrition Center there are various jobs like stocking shelves, making food bags, and carrying food out to clients' cars. Volunteers are also needed at NAM Resale to accept donations and sort and price merchandise.

There's a place for you at NAM. You have a one-of-a-kind contribution to make because no one else has your unique blend of experiences, skills, and personality. No one else is you.
