NAM's Learning Center Offering Online Classes for Fall 2020

A full-time position that has a career path and offers benefits can be life-changing. The Training & Learning Center at NAM is designed to help people launch a career by offering educational opportunities and vocational training that will open doors for them. It will lead to better jobs, higher income, and more stability.

As part of United Way's THRIVE program, vocational scholarships sponsoring continuing education at Lone Star College and NAM are awarded to qualifying adults so they can be trained for promising careers. Participants of the NAM THRIVE program receive free tuition, books, financial coaching, and job search assistance.

This Fall, in order to continue the practice of health safety and social distancing, NAM is offering online classes for these THRIVE vocational training opportunities:

  • Administrative Professional
  • Certified Nurse Aid (CNA)
  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT)
  • Community Health Worker (CHW)
  • Patient Care Tech (PCT)

Because the classes will be online, students are required to have an internet connection, computer/laptop with a camera, microphone, and speakers.

Registration is now open and space is limited. The application process includes an interview which will be conducted online. To see if you qualify for a scholarship call (281) 885-4525 or click here for more information.
