Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

The Spring Interfaith Council is truly excited to announce that for the first time in two years we will hold an in-person Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. Cypress Creek Christian Church will host this Thanksgiving service at 7 PM on Thursday November 17th (Thursday before Thanksgiving). The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Klein Stake; the Congregation Jewish Community North; St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Community; Champions Mosque; Baha’i Northwest Houston Community; Holy Comforter Episcopal; Hosanna Lutheran; and Plymouth United Church have all been contributing to the planning phase for this service. The next planning session is scheduled for Thursday, September 22nd, at 10:00 AM at the Cypress Creek Christian Church. Please contact Pastor Bruce Frogge ( [email protected] ) if you would like to be involved.

This year we are choosing to celebrate in gratitude for the blessings of the past years. Participants will share stories of celebration from a variety of faith traditions. We will re-knit the circle of community that has kept us isolated from each other. It will be wonderful to join together and remember that we are not alone – in times of struggle or in times of joy! Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 17 at 7:00 PM and invite your friends and neighbors of all faiths.
