April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). During this month, NAM's Family Violence Center (FVC) will present different events and topics to help spread awareness.
On Tuesday, April 6, the FVC is asking everyone in the community to wear teal and spread awareness. On this day, we will also have a movie screening of the documentary I Am Evidence. Join us via Zoom from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. to watch the movie and have a discussion afterward. Also, be sure to share photos of yourself wearing teal on social media and tag NAM. Be sure to use the hashtags #SAAM and #WearTeal.
