Start by Believing Day 2022

NAM's Family Violence Center is joining the national movement at startbybelieving.org, and encourages everyone to take the pledge to believe survivors who disclose their sexual assault.

All survivors deserve to feel safe. We can create these safe spaces as survivors seek help when we pledge to believe survivors. From friends and family to medical and law enforcement professionals - we should all be working together in support of survivors as they seek help and healing.
