Northwest Assistance Ministries Receives Award for Role in Mayor's Goal to House Homeless

Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is the proud recipient of an award presented by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and The Way Home for its role in helping to achieve Mayor Turner’s goal to house 500 chronically homeless individuals in six months.

Not only was the goal met, it was exceeded – the Coalition for the Homeless and its partner agencies, including NAM, housed 548 people from March through August this year.
