Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) announced today that NAM Resale will be closed Monday, October 23 through Friday, October 27 in order to facilitate the move to its new location at 15702 Bammel Village Drive, Houston, 77014.
During this time drop-off donations will continue to be accepted at the current store, located at 2327 FM 1960 Road West; however, donation pick-up will not be available during this time.
The new resale store, located on the first floor of The Harrell Family Opportunity Center, will resume full operations on Saturday, October 28, at which time all donations of gently-used items should be dropped off at the new location.
Beginning October 30, NAM will be using the building that currently houses the resale store as a seasonal specialty shop where shoppers can score great buys on seasonal items, such as Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas décor. This location will close permanently on December 8 or when all merchandise has been liquidated.
“We invite all of our customers and donors – new and loyal – to stop in and see what surprises and good buys we have at both stores,” said NAM’s Deputy Director/COO, Erin Broussard. “Your good buys do good deeds at NAM Resale!”
The new NAM Resale will host its Grand Opening Celebration at the new store on Friday, November 3. The celebration will include food, music, a raffle and door prizes. NAM invites everyone in the community to come out and enjoy the festivities.
