NAM’s Learning & Vocational Training Center has released its Fall schedule of adult educational offerings to empower our neighbors to seek new job opportunities and achieve financial independence.
Certification programs offered include Centralized Sterile Process Technician (CPST), Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Phlebotomy, and Forklift/OSHA10 certification. The training center also offers computer training and GED and ESL classes.
Services are provided for individuals living below the Federal Poverty Level, and some scholarships are available based on residential ZIP codes. A high school diploma or GED is required to enroll in any of the vocational training courses with the exception of forklift training. All scholarship recipients are required to attend three Job Readiness classes prior to admission.
More information and program details can be found on the Learning & Vocational Training Center’s page.
