To reward the loyalty of our many regular customers, NAM offered a special celebration of the August 17 National Thrift Store Day: a buy one get one free on all clothing and shoes, plus an additional 20% off the entire purchase for seniors. This discount was offered at both the NAM Resale Store and NAM Donation & Clearance Center, August 9 - August 19, 2022

“The idea for celebrating National Thrift Store Day was initiated out of the NAM Young at Heart Center, because they wanted to do something to benefit seniors,” said Jason, NAM Resale Director. “We saw some new customers, along with many regulars purchasing more clothing than before. Many seniors also shopped that first week to take advantage of the special discount.” 

In addition to being a shopping resource, NAM Resale continues to offer NAM clients vouchers for clothing, housewares and furniture. 

“We are serving a higher number of clients with vouchers than usual,” said Jason. “Already by the 3rd week of August, we have provided 30 client vouchers for individuals and families in need.” 

When you shop at NAM Resale, every purchase helps a neighbor in need. Donating to our stores also provides quality items for clients: from women with children fleeing domestic violence to individuals transitioning out of homeless situations, these clients are provided with the basic necessities for a comfortable place to live when you choose to donate to our store. 

Though the National Thrift Store Days have ended, NAM Resale offers different daily discounts year round, along with significantly reduced prices at the Donation & Clearance Center.
