National Immunization Awareness Month

National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) is an annual observance held in August to highlight the importance of vaccinations. Immunizing children and teens is the best way to keep them free from dangerous viruses and bacteria that are still circulating in the world. You have the power to protect your children against serious diseases like measles, cancers caused by HPV, and whooping cough. By vaccinating children, parents can take control of their child's health.

To help our community keep children safe and healthy, NAM's Pediatric Health Center and CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinics are once again partnering to offer FREE immunizations this month. On Friday, August 21 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. CHRISTUS and the Pediatric Health Center will set up at The Harrell Family Opportunity Center - located behind NAM's Main Building at 15555 Kuykendahl Rd, Houston, TX 77090 - to supply free vaccinations to children between 2-18 years of age.

Immunizations are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call 281-885-4649 today to schedule your appointment.
