NAM Volunteer Rides Bike To Raise Money

Robert Epstein is riding his bike the equivalent of the 151 mile border of the NAM Meals on Wheels Service Area. NAM delivers over 900 meals a day to home bound seniors. Robert is making the ride to raise awareness of the hunger issue and to raise money for NAM’s Joanne Watford Nutrition Center.

More than 40 % of NAM’s service area is considered a food desert. 1-3 children in these areas deal with food scarcity on a regular basis. NAM’s Joanne Watford Nutrition center is serving 50-60 families every day.

There is a dollar for dollar match for all donation to Robert’s Ride for NAM up to $3,000. A second donor has committed another $3,000 match, so every donation receives a 2 for 1 match.
