NAM to Offer Veteran Services Beginning July 1

Northwest Assistance Ministries will begin offering special Veteran Services on July 1. While NAM has always served Veterans in our programs, special funding makes these designated services available for Veterans. "We are excited that we we're able to secure funding to serve these special individuals and their families in greater numbers" said NAM President / CEO Les Cave.

Assistance that will be available beginning July 1 through NAM's Veteran Services Department include:

  • Case Management
  • Rent / Mortgage Assistance
  • Utility Assistance
  • Food Pantry Assistance
  • Transportation Assistance
  • Child or Adult Care
  • Assistive Technologies - Wheelchairs, Walkers, Crutches etc.

In order to determine eligibility for rent / mortgage or utility assistance, the following documents are needed:

  • DD214
  • Photo ID and State issued ID for all members of household
  • Copy of current lease / mortgage
  • Eviction / Vacate notice
  • Current utility bill
