Sound fiscal management practices and commitment to accountability and transparency have earned Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator. This is the sixth time NAM has received this top distinction.

“I’m so proud of our board, staff, and volunteers who give their best every day to make a difference for Neighbors in Need,” said Les Cave, President & CEO of NAM. “And I’m delighted that Charity Navigator has recognized how seriously we take our fiduciary and governance responsibilities, by awarding NAM this 4-star rating.”

Charity Navigator is the largest and most-utilized charity evaluator in America. The organization helps guide intelligent giving by evaluating the financial health, accountability, and transparency of over 9,000 charities and provides basic data on the rest of the 1.8 million U.S. nonprofits.

The positive review of NAM’s financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency can now be viewed on Charity Navigator’s website, charitynavigator.org.
