NAM’s Learning & Vocational Training Center continues to expand their adult educational offerings, with the goal of empowering our neighbors to seek new job opportunities and achieve financial independence. In Spring of 2021, we added the A+ Certification and the Forklift & OSHA10 Certification. Now for the first time, we will offer an Accounting Assistant Program to our clients. 

“NAM will be providing scholarships for  10  eligible Lone Star students who are interested in the program, “ Said Elaina Albarez, Director of the Learning & Vocational Training Center. “ All referrals will come directly from Lonestar, Students who complete this course will receive training in accounting fundamentals.” 

The course is a collaboration with Lone Star College, and all students will be referred to NAM from Lone Star. Students will learn how to operate Excel I and II, Accounting Office I & II, and Quickbooks I & II.
