Northwest Assistance Ministries has recently hired Erica Bryant to fill the role of Program & Community Resource Coordinator. Erica is charged with recruitment and placement of nearly 3,000 volunteers serving NAM annually. Erica will also serve as a key liaison to the many congregations NAM works with around the community. A graduate of Texas State University, Bryant brings over 20 years of extensive knowledge and nonprofit and development experience to the organization, previously working for United Way.

In addition to her time with non-profits, Bryant has trained various organizations on different ways to benefit the community. Erica Bryant is eager to improve the volunteer recruitment process and assist with program placement to better assist NAM’s clients.

“NAM provides the opportunity to highlight the needs of the community outside of the loop…Volunteering in such a diverse city like Houston allows for us to act on our mission, Neighbors Helping Neighbors,” said Bryant.
