NAM Grateful for Large Food Donation

For a donation of this magnitude, words alone are not enough to express our gratitude. During the early morning of Wednesday, November 13, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints blessed NAM by donating 20,000 pounds of food to the Joanne Watford Nutrition Center. NAM would like to thank the church for this bountiful and generous donation that will help fill the shelves of our Nutrition Center and provide food to so many of our neighbors this holiday season.

"We would like to thank The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and President Sam Bickman for offering and delivering all of this wonderful food," said Les Cave, President & CEO of NAM. "Our shelves in our Nutrition Center were going empty when we received word from the church that they wanted to donate 10 tons of food to NAM, which we will put on the shelves and start distributing today," he continued. "We are forever grateful and look forward to continuing to work with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."

We would also like to thank all of the missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who donated their time to volunteer that same morning to assist with unloading the truck and stocking the shelves in the Nutrition Center. Your hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated.

NAM's Joanne Watford Nutrition Center still has shelves left to fill. More than 1,000 people visit NAM's Nutrition Center every month needing food. If you would like to be a blessing for a family this holiday season, please click here to make a donation.
