Get your résumés ready! The Training & Learning Center at Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) and Between Jobs Ministries (BJM) will host its annual Spring Career Fair on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in The Harrell Family Opportunity Center, located behind NAM's main building.
This is an opportunity for job seekers to showcase their talents. Employers, recruiters, Workforce Solutions, Lone Star College, NAM THRIVE, BJM Encouragers, non-profits, and Veterans organizations will be on-site. For a partial list of participating employers, click here.
Special Job Readiness Workshops with Bill Proctor will also be available during the event. The Career Fair is free of charge for all exhibitors and participants.
Those attending the career fair should bring multiple copies of their résumé, dress for the career they are seeking and be prepared to interview and network at the event.

The Training & Learning Center at NAM provides adult students with the vocational training they need to start a new career. During the fiscal year 2017-2018, the Training & Learning Center provided 71 clients with vocational training scholarships and met with 1,058 adults through the Workforce Connector Program. The Training & Learning Center also provided GED and ESL classes to more than 417 students.
