This is the first time that NAM will commemorate this day as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
This day is unique to NAM, and was developed by NAM Family Violence Center staff to emphasis:
- That what a woman is wearing should never be used to blame the victim for the assault.
- What someone is wearing does not imply or constitute consent.
