Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) celebrated another successful Jeans & Jewels event with its revamped Beers & Cheers, A Toast to NAM event.
More than 100 guests gathered during a perfect Texas-summer day at Citation Oil & Gas on Thursday, May 11, 2016. Guests enjoyed sips, bites and a Thai-Mexican Fusion food truck by Pho-jita. The Mix Masters Band delighted attendees with a fun, musical atmosphere. Beers & Cheers, A Toast to NAM, raised more than $8,000 that will go into funding NAM’s programs and services.
“This party started as another way to connect with our supporters and to generate excitement leading up to Jeans & Jewels, A Texas Size-Party held in October each year,” explained Carole Little, NAM’s President and CEO. “I can’t stress enough how proud I am to see this network of supporters coming together for a shared belief and for their continued support of NAM’s mission. NAM’s greatest assets are our supportive donors and an exceptional volunteer base and I am truly thankful for a generous and giving community.”
