Free COVID-19 Testing

Harris SAVES is a research project that will help understand the spread of COVID-19 in our communities and fight the virus. The project is led by UTHealth School of Public Health in partnership with Baylor College of Medicine and Harris County Public Health.

Through this research project, they provide FREE TESTING FOR EVERYONE (including children) in Harris County, even if you are not sick, and regardless of gender, race, income or immigration status. Results are private and available within 48 hours. Participants will be paid $5.00 for their time.

Who can get tested?
Testing is available to everyone regardless of symptoms, race, nationality, or residency status. Don’t forget to wear your mask!

No documentation needed
You do NOT need to show proof of residency or immigration status.

No ID needed
You may get tested even if you don't have a photo ID.

Parents present for kids
Children can be tested with a parent present.

Information kept private
Your personal information is private and won't be shared with others.

Results in 2 days
Your private test results will be available within 48 hours.
