NAM's Family Violence Center Hotline Still Open During Stay Home Order

During this difficult time, NAM's Family Violence Center hotline continues to answer calls 24/7. Sadly, the calls continue to escalate as Harris County's "Stay Home, Work Safe" order remains in place.  According to an article in Community Impact, "officials said the combination of encouraged isolation, coronavirus-related financial stressors, and limited shelter space as a result of social distancing has created an ideal environment for escalated domestic violence."
