Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Donates 18 Wheeler Full of Food

On Wednesday, December 7, more than two dozen volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (CJCLDS) unloaded a donation of 24 pallets of food into the pantry shelves at Northwest Assistance Ministries’ (NAM’s) Joanne Watford Nutrition Center (JWNC).

The donation was made by the CJCLDS Bishop’s Storehouse, and many members of the local church volunteer at the pantry.

The JWNC serves approximately 400 families each week and that number is increasing. However, inflation is making it harder for the pantry to stock its shelves while serving more people than ever.

NAM is extremely grateful for this generous donation that helps us to continue to put food on the tables of neighbors in need.
