Every year Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) holds two back to school events in August – a school supply distribution and immunizations (known as Shot Blitz) - separated by just one or two weeks. This year, instead of separating the two events, NAM will be combining the two in a Back to School Family Fair.
On Saturday, August 3, 2019, NAM will utilize its two buildings, along with its parking lot space, located at 15555 Kuykendahl Rd. to combine these two events into one event where families can not only go to pick up school supplies for their children and get their shots, they can also receive physicals, vision and hearing exams, shop at NAM Resale, visit vendor booths/tables, enjoy food, music, and a fun family atmosphere.
Due to limited quantities, school supplies will be distributed to PRE-REGISTERED* clients only. Clients must present a PHOTO ID and the VOUCHER they received when they registered when picking up school supplies.
*To receive school supplies, clients must pre-register. Clients will receive a voucher at the time of registration indicating the date and time they may pick up their supplies – clients may not pick up supplies before the date and time indicated on their voucher.
