It is starting to look a lot like Christmas! Well sort of, NAM is putting things in place for the 2021 Holiday Blessings. Again, this year, NAM will provide Thanksgiving meals to over 1300 families complete with turkey and all the fixins. NAM will also provide another holiday meal and gifts for the children ages 0-12 for the same families in December.
Last year NAM collected and distributed over 17,000 toys for local families that were hit hard by the pandemic and economic hardships. This year NAM is looking for 15,000 toys to be donated between now and December 10th. "This always looks like an impossible number of toys to collect but the community never lets us down" stated Brian Carr, NAM Chief Advancement Officer. "It truly takes the whole community to fulfill the needs of so many" added Carr.
From October through December NAM will be collecting toys, food and financial donations to help thousands of families across all of NAM's programs. In addition to the toy and food donations NAM has a goal of over $350,000 to make this holiday truly special.
