The public can purchase nice, affordable merchandise to help NAM's programs.
Many of our neighbors don't know or care where the old recliner goes after NAM picks it up, or where last year's dresses and blue jeans go after they are dropped off in NAM's donation bins. Whether they know it or not, our neighbors' unneeded clothing, furniture, and household items make possible many of the services that NAM provides. NAM lead tests all its children's items for your safety! We are the only resale store in the area to do this.
NAM's programs issue vouchers to their clients who can redeem them for donated goods, free of charge. These items help individuals in need establish a new household. These are the "things" that play a big part in getting families back on track.
Another way donations provide a second chance, is through their sale to the public at great prices. The sales not only help low to moderate income families get more for less, they also provide NAM with its single largest source of revenue. Shop sales fund up to 18 percent of NAM's operating budget.
Donations can be made at either Treasures of the Heart Shop and Donation Center or the NAM Office Facility. To arrange for a furniture pick-up, call 281-885-4545 or 281-880-9482.
Vision Stations at Treasures of the Heart Thanks to a partnership with Visual Compassion, NAM will be introducing vision stations a the FM 1960 & Jones Rd Stores. The stations provide free vision screenings, refferals, and low-cost eyeglasses.
