President/CEO: Carole Little has more than 25 years experience in health and human services. Since 2001, she has served as President and CEO of Northwest Assistance Ministries. Little has served as a coaching partner with the One Star Foundation, as a consultant to the Kellogg College of Action Lab Consultants and has assisted nonprofit leaders and organizations across the country with their capacity building efforts. As President/CEO, Carole is responsible for every aspect of Northwest Assistance Ministries. Carole has a Master of Arts in Organizational Management/Public Administration and an Executive Certificate of Nonprofit Management from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Chief Financial Officer: Denese Hammon has over 10 years of experience holding various accounting positions at NAM. As CFO, she oversees the financial records for all of NAM’s programs as well as the records of The NAM Endowment. Prior to joining NAM, she worked in accounting for 20 years, mostly in the oil and gas industry. Ms. Hammon graduated with a degree in accounting from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Vice President of Program Services: Becky Landes holds a Masters of Science from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary. She has over 20 years of experience working in Houston’s nonprofit sector with 9 years in program management. Prior to joining NAM in 2008, she was responsible for the oversight of program operations at Healthy Family Initiatives and managed the organization’s participation in federal, state, and local collaborative projects. With extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, she holds certifications as a parent educator, trainer, and/or supervisor of early childhood strengthening curricula. She is also a nationally Certified Leader of Trainers for the Love’s Cradle, Relationship Enhancement program for couples. Ms. Landes was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, Counseling and Academic and Professional Honor Society International. She also graduated from the Leadership North Houston Class of 2010. Ms Landes is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Vice President of Fund Development: Scott Stuckey is a graduate of Texas A&M University and earned his MBA from UH Clear Lake in 2002. He has been a Certified Fundraising Executive since 2008 and has over 12 years of fundraising experience. Previously he served as the Director of Development for Houston Habitat for Humanity, one of the largest Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the country. Scott also served as the Director of Development at the Houston Food Bank for four years. His career includes several fundraising positions in the education industry. Scott is currently the President of the AFP Greater Houston Chapter Board and has been a board member since 2010. His community involvement includes organizations such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Houston Peanut Butter Cannery and the Houston Airport System.
Director of Operations: Randy Boyer has been with NAM since 2003 and came to NAM with over 30 years experience in project management and retail experience. Mr. Boyer served as Area Vice President for Luby’s for six years prior to starting at NAM; he had been with that company for a total of 29 years, with increasing responsibilities during his tenure there. Mr. Boyer has a BBA from Southwestern University and an MBA from St. Edward’s University.
